| If you still need to be convinced, please read: I was a late starter. I was pretty much a self-made failure for the first 34 years of my life when I was a Jack of all Trades and Master of None. Then I met my I started devouring every skill, technique and choice of words that the Top Sales Pros were using and quickly became a Mega-Buck Producer. In fact, I Doubled my Income for 5 consecutive years and then started my Sales Training career in the mid 80's. Like I said . . . a late starter for sure. I mean common . . . a 30 minute Keynote address in Technology saves the day . . . and probably my life ! Since there simply wasn't enough of me to go around, I filmed a 4 hour Training Session at a National Telemarketing Convention, where I was delivering “90 Telemarketing Tips”. I came up with a catchy title of “90 Telemarketing Skills in 90 Minutes” and tried my best to slice and dice the filmed material to fit the title. I came pretty close and ended up releasing a Video Series which was four 30 minute Videos. That Series set every Industry Sales Record imaginable even though it had a $495 price point which was very high for that time period. What do you do when you perform for 2 hours . . . Even though the Series quickly became a Best Seller and turned into an Industry Classic, many Sales Managers and Business Owners were complaining that 2 hours just wasn't enough. Keep in mind that in order to cram a 4 hour Presentation into a 2 hour Series, I had to leave some good stuff on the cutting room floor. I learned to "PLUS" from Disney ! The geniuses at Disney do something every year with every Product they produce, which is called They tear everything apart and then improve on It when they put it back together. We kept the original 2 hours of me in front of a “live audience” and went into the Studio and filmed 6 additional hours of fresh material. Now each of the 90 segments starts with me working an audience and then switches to the Studio where I explain and enhance each Skill and Technique. This turned out to be the Mother of all Filming Projects since we actually shot 5 segments at a time, several times a week in the evenings. I would fly out to Speak somewhere around the country and then return to That went on for several months until we had 90 segments “in the can” and then I had to take a full week off the road to go into the Editing Suite to put all the pieces together. We increased the Price 3 times . . . We now had a series entitled “90 Telemarketing Selling Skills”, which was 90 complete Sales Training Session on 18 DVDs. We ran the price up (way up) the flagpole to $1,595 and it still flew out the door. It's still being sold in 45 Countries and counting and has been translated into several languages. Plus, who knows how many bogus copies have been made or how many times I've been ripped off. We dropped the price by 62% . . .
